BLAST, the new standard in electronic warfare and anti-drone technology
BLAST represents a major technological breakthrough in the field of electronic protection and anti-drone warfare. Unlike conventional jammers, BLAST combines a compact design, broad frequency coverage, digital programming, and high operational versatility into a single, user-friendly solution.
Developed in France, BLAST benefits from the results of national innovation programs such as OASIS (Agile Operation for Innovation Simulation for Systems) led by the French Ministry of Defense (DGA-MI and AID) through the ILIAD module. This ensures that the system is not only at the cutting edge of technology but also aligned with strategic defense priorities. BLAST directly addresses one of today’s most pressing security challenges: the proliferation of drones and radio-frequency-based threats in both civilian and military environments.
Its ability to neutralize multiple threats simultaneously, while minimizing collateral interference, provides operators with decisive electronic dominance in complex theaters of operations. By integrating the ILIAD module, BLAST goes beyond jamming: it enables intelligent detection, identification, and neutralization, paving the way for next-generation electronic warfare.
Robust, secure, and tested to the most stringent military standards (STANAG, MIL-STD, DREP, DREC, DRAM), it is ready for deployment anywhere in the world. Its modularity and cost-effectiveness make it accessible not only to the armed forces, but also to homeland security agencies, critical infrastructure protection agencies, and law enforcement.
BLAST embodies innovation, operational relevance, and strategic impact.

Comprehensive protection and high-speed internet
BLAST covers frequencies from 20 MHz to 8 GHz and jams drones, GNSS navigation systems, radio-controlled improvised explosive devices, and cellular communications up to 5G.
It outperforms many competing jammers that are limited to narrower bands.
Program, scramble, and neutralize
Fully digital and programmable via a Mission Planning Station (MPS), BLAST offers seven customizable parameters:
- Jamming mode,
- Listening duration,
- Jamming duration,
- Jamming signal format,
- Revisit time,
- Transmission channel bandwidth,
- And output power per frequency segment.
These capabilities allow operators to adapt their responses to the threat in real time, while minimizing collateral effects.
Multi-threat engagement
BLAST is designed for multi-purpose deployments and can be integrated into a wide range of operational platforms:
- Land-based platforms: vehicle-mounted for convoy protection, border control, and field operations,
- Naval platforms: integrated into ships or coastal facilities to protect against maritime drone incursions and RF threats,
- Airborne platforms: adaptable to aerial platforms, providing protection against swarms of aerial drones and hostile communication systems,
- Fixed-site protection: deployed around strategic infrastructure (airports, critical sites, military bases) to establish a secure electronic perimeter.
Its compact, monoblock design and lightweight construction (< 50 kg) allow for easy transport and immediate deployment in the field without complex installation.
Ruggedness and Compliance
BLAST is designed to meet the most stringent military and industrial standards, ensuring robust, secure, and interoperable deployment in theaters of operations:
- MIL-STD-810H: resistance to vibration, shock, humidity, dust, and extreme temperatures (from -32 °C to +55 °C).
- MIL-STD-461G: Electromagnetic compatibility, ensuring that BLAST does not interfere with friendly systems while remaining resistant to hostile electromagnetic environments.
- MIL-STD-1275F: covering power supply stability and safety, enabling reliable operation with a DC input (20–33 V), including integration into vehicles.
- NATO STANAG: enabling seamless interoperability with allied systems and ensuring coalition mission readiness.
- HERP HERF HERO: ensuring safe operation in the vicinity of personnel, ammunition, and fuel systems.
- Protection rating (IP 54 for the integrated module and IP67 for the wheeled module): ensuring reliable outdoor operation in dusty and humid environments.
These standards confirm that BLAST is not only a high-performance jammer but also a battlefield-ready system, designed for multinational and multi-mission contexts such as radar decoys.
