Easy to use, NEROD NG is the next generation of NEROD RF.
NEROD NG jams wide, continuous frequency bands as well as radio signals in addition to GNSS signals. Programmable, it adapts to the threat and can therefore carry out multiple missions simultaneously.
NEROD NG is the next-generation jamming rifle, designed for today’s threats, and is also interoperable with our other products.
The answer to asymmetric warfare
NEROD NG was developed in response to today’s asymmetric conflicts and the operational versatility of drones. NEROD NG’s mission is to make it more difficult for drones to adapt to hostile environments and to counter the dispersed and unpredictable threats of modern warfare.
NEROD NG counters the threat through the following features:
- Frequency hopping (FHSS) and direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS),
- Use of software-defined radios (SDR) and/or cognitive radio,
- Multi-band communication and link redundancy,
- Error detection and correction algorithms.
The programmable and interoperable rifle
NEROD NG is designed for use in theaters of operation where wide-band jamming is possible, in order to neutralize the unconventional frequency bands used by next-generation drones.
Agile, programmable, interoperable, and intelligent, NEROD NG adapts to the mission in real time, uses the appropriate signals to jam effectively, and connects to other MC2 Technologies detection systems such as HADDES and ILIAD.
