This software allows you to control and automate the active load pull measurement setup. Two types of load pull measurement are implemented : continuous (CW) and pulsed load pull measurement within the frequency range 900MHz-40GHz.
The software performs the configuration of all devices automatically, therefore measurement does not require special expertise.
The software is based on several tabs that allow successively:
- Configure / learn the material for the measurement.
- Set the measurement
- Perform the calibration steps.
- Create a measurement batch with different configurations.
- Perform the measurements.
The software enables three types of measurement:
- Sij measurement
- Output power measurement as a function of input power (Pout = f (Pin)) with a fixed output load synthesized.
- Optimum output load determination with circles at a fixed compression level configurable.
For each type of measurement, it is also possible to measure the loads presented at the component output at frequencies 2F0 and / or 3F0.
For example, one can measure the Sij parameters and then perform the measurement of output power as a function of input power (Pout = f (Pin)) by presenting the complex conjugate impedance of the parameter S22. Other options are also possible (determining the efficiency (PAE) maximum, maximum power gain ...).
An add-in software to perform both types of measures load pull CW and pulsed and F0 to 2F0 is under development and will soon be available.
